Dinh Vu Port Project –The second phase
To meet the demand of goods through the Dinh Vu Port , It forecasts 3.2 million tons per year in 2010. Dinh Vu Port needs to be expanded to downstream that towards replacing the main port. This expansion makes the city match with the planning of Haiphong to be an urban city grade I. The scale construction of phrase II Dinh Vu port project has 04 terminals (number 3,4,5 and 6) linking with port 1 and 2 of Phase I. Phase II of project with a length of 785m, ancillary works, network of synchronization technology ensure for 04 ships of 20,000 tonnage or 05 ships of 10,000 DWT land docked cargo. Wharf station 20,000DWT is 785m long, 24m wide. Side elevation + 4.75 MHD.
This Project is in Dinh Vu peninsula, Dong Hai ward, Hai An, Haiphong city.
Investor: Haiphong Port.
Consulting project: Marine Construction and consulting Corporation.
Using area: 43.65 ha for the works with all ports on the foot of the embankment and 3.89 hectares of protected land.
Total investment of the project: 598.720.537.000dong with two investment steps
Step 1: From 2005 to 2007 (the construction of terminals 3 ,4 roads and ancillary works)
Step 2: From 2008 - 2010 (the construction of terminals 5, 6 and auxiliary). Execution time from the second quarter of 2005.
